It is the first time I make this sauce and I am very happy with the result! At first I was skeptical, I didn't know what I would use it for or if I would like it. After I finished it I prepared some bruschettas, we really liked them! :)
- 35 g salted hazelnuts
- 10 g fresh basil
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation time: less than 15 minutes
HOW TO PREPARE RECIPE Genoese Pesto:
Put the hazelnuts in the blender bowl and grind them.
Then add the washed basil leaves and mix well.
Add the olive oil, salt powder and mix until you get a sauce.
The sauce obtained is put in a jar and stored in the refrigerator.
Hazelnuts can be replaced with pine nuts.
From the above ingredients we get a little sauce (I wanted to see if I like it), if we want more we double or even triple the quantities.
