Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

HOW TO PREPARE RECIPE Halloween Chef: Witch Fingers:

Mix all the ingredients except the almonds and jam until you get a fine and elastic dough.

We divide this dough into about 20 balls (about 25 gr of ball), then we start to shape the biscuits as seen in the pictures below.

After we have shaped them, we put an almond like a nail, place them on a tray lined with baking paper and put them in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

They should be lighter in color when they are ready ... if they seem to darken in color as you bake them, slow down! After they are ready you will see that the almond tends to fall ... me I took them out, soaked them in jam and then put them back together. This way they will stick to my fingers and give them a more "scary" look.

Biscuits & # 8222Witch fingers & # 8221 for Halloween

225 grams of butter
125 grams of powdered sugar
1 or
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of almond essence
350 grams of flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
100 grams of whole almonds
raspberry jam (or raisin jelly)

Method of preparation:

1) Put the butter, powdered sugar, egg and vanilla and almond essences in a bowl and mix with an electric whisk. Add salt and baking powder, then sprinkle with flour, gradually, continuing to mix. Knead the crust until smooth, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

2) Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. Lightly grease the baking tray.

3) Remove the shell from the refrigerator. Place the contents of a spoonful of coke on baking paper. Using the baking paper, roll that amount of crust to give it the shape of a thin finger. Slightly flatten each coke "finger" at the connections between the phalanges and make a few notches to mimic the folds of the skin. By pressing lightly, place a whole almond at the tip of your "finger" to give the impression of a long nail. Repeat the procedure until you have finished the whole shell. Place the formed "fingers" on the baking paper.

4) Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the biscuits turn a light golden color.

5) Gently remove the encrusted almonds from each biscuit. Spread jelly (or jam) in place of the "nail" and put the almonds back in place, pressing lightly so that the gel (or jam) comes out a little on the edges of the almonds.
